Official fuel prices in Panama will fall from this Friday the 10th, the subsidy remains until February 15

The National Ministry of Energy announced the new maximum sales prices for liquid fuel in Panama, which reflect an increase and begin to take effect from Friday, February 10. That is, 95-octane gasoline will decrease by 2 cents per liter, 91-octane gasoline will decrease by 2 cents per liter and Diesel will decrease by 8 cents per liter.

In the provinces of Panama and Colón, the price of fuel derivatives per liter will be:

  • 95-octane gasoline will be at B/.1.059
  • 91-octane gasoline is at B/.0.996
  • The liter of diesel in these provinces will cost B/.1.022

These prices will be valid until Friday, February 24, 2023.

It is worth mentioning that, although these are the official prices, the National Government established the extension of the subsidy to set the price of fuel at B/.3.25 per gallon or B/0.859 per liter (95, 91 gasoline and diesel) which will remain in force until Tuesday, February 15, 2023.
