 Sport fishing: the next big economic motor

I recently read an article in The Visitante that spoke to one of Panama’s greates resources that is just now being tapped.  I have mixed emotions about the subject after watching the fishery in South Florida deteriorate over the 35 years that I lived in South Florida and hope that Panama does not have the same experience.  I was born here in Panama and have great pictures of my Father catching marlin on Hannibal Bank where they would boat and release 12 in one day!!    Today it is still possible to experience multiple hook ups and catch and release several marlin on the Bank and I fish the same spot my Father once did.  How cool is that.
