Metro Advertising Awarded for $17 Million

The Metro de Panamá has awarded a contract to High Traffic Media for the development, commercialization and administration of an inventory of physical spaces on Line 1, for 10 years.

From a statement issued by Metro de Panama:

The Panamanian outdoor advertising company High Traffic Media was eventually selected by the Panama Metro following the Best Value tenderprocess for the “Development, commercialization and administration of the public exploitation of the inventory of physical spaces of Line 1 of the Panamanian Metro “N 2016-2-80-0-08-LV-000945 that aroused the interest of more than 10 local and international companies, for the award of a 10 year contract for the commercialization of advertising spaces that will be operated on an exclusive basis from mid-October of this year.

The total value of the contract that the operator (High Traffic Media) will pay to the Metro of Panama in 10 years, is in the sum of (USD /.  17,000,000.00) seventeen million dollars, paid on a yearly basis, a figure that does not include ITBMS

The contract for the development, commercialization and administration of the advertising exploitation of the physical space inventory of Line 1 of the Panama Metro includes the installation, maintenance and cleaning of all supports, equipment and / or installations associated with the contract.  In addition to placing a minimum of ten percent (10%) of digital innovation supports, installation and distribution throughout Line 1 of the material and advertising elements necessary for the proper operation of this media.
