  1. I’m Venezuelan born, an actress and writer and relate to this more than you know. My upbringing and education was American but I have lived in Venezuela recently and came to Panama hired for work and with possibilities. I have a deep sensitivity for exclusion. There are thousands of immigrants who have shaped and added to the the Panamanian economy and way of life. I have friends who sport inclusion but it is an issue that I feel offended by directly. I am a child of many countries and create within my work a space for those who want to be included. Patriotism is a great feeling, but when it discards others it weakens the sentiment. Supporting others is a civil duty we have as citizens of the world. As a venezuelan and fellow writer, I appreciate this and hope it reaches more people. Thank you!
