Lufthansa Group’s new long-haul leisure airline, Eurowings Discover will start operations between Frankfurt (FRA) and Panama – Tocumen (PTY) as of March 27 with three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays operated by Airbus A330.

The last operation of the German group in Panama – Tocumen (PTY) was in March 2020 by Lufthansa with an operation of 6 weekly flights on Airbus A340-300.

This achievement comes thanks to the negotiations by the Panama Tourism Authority (ATP) in conjunction with the International Tourism Promotion Fund (PROMTTUR). The common objective is to consolidate Panama as a more competitive destination and more recognized worldwide. The authorities project the arrival of 1.8 million tourists by 2022 in the Central American country.  More…
