This picture best expresses how I feel right now after a fantastic Boquete Jazz and Blues Festival and traveling to Panama City to see Panama The Musical.  The arts are definitely alive here in Panama.

It all started with the Garden Party at Finca Lerida.  John Hampton captures the best moments.

Spyro Gyra along with a winning list of artists performed this year and John Wolff deserves a big round of applause for putting together by far the best Jazz and Blues Fest Boquete has ever seen.

Next up, Susie and I traveled to Panama City to see Panama The Musical for one of the last shows this season.

What a great show it was too!

The cast, the music, the magical glow from the stage was almost overwhelming especially as we had second row center seats!

Thanks to T Rob Brown, Yolanda Van Der Kolk and their great team of directors and performers for putting this together from a dream they had at a pool party 5 years ago!!

So, if you did miss this years prime performances in Panama, do not fret, there will be another Annual Boquete Jazz and Blues Festival and Panama The Musical will be back in February of 2019 and 2020 so plan ahead and come see us next year.  February is one of the best times of the year here in Panama.
