This is my favorite festival of all and it takes place in Boquete and our community of Valle Escondido. Lots of international talent again this year so plan to visit us February 28th for almost a week of shows, pre-shows and after show parties with the artists.

The 2012 edition was also the first ever festival in Panama to showcase first-class international Blues acts in addition to notable Panamanian and Latin American artists featuring Jazz and Latin American music styles.

I visited Panama/Boquete in 2009 and loved the town – met Bradd Ferraris of BMountain Tours. As I approach retirement in 2013 I want to return, perhaps meet you, and have a look around. My wife did not make the last trip so I want to “sell” her on Boquete and maybe plan on staying there winters.
As a writer/editor by trade for 38 years I enjoy your posts. Can you help us find a place in Boquete for a 2-week visit later this year? Valle Escondido would be great, but also pricey – any deals there?
