  1. Our financial adviser sends us about $6,000 a month, generated from investments. We also collect Social Security and a small pension. We have a “slush fund” of about $20,000, which allows us to make advance deposits—for housing, cruises, flights, hotels and so forth—without affecting our cash flow.
Poor souls–how will they ever make it????
Hardly, hard done by in their retirement! Most of the people I meet have incomes $1500 per MONTH not per week.
My wife and I, before settling down to live in Panama permanently, lived as gypsies also– on our boat–for 12 years! We had to scrounge, save and work to enjoy that life style. I would like to hear more stories about real people and their challenge to retire with some sort of comfort.
    Regards to all–Jack
PS- For the record– Panama is the perfect place for those looking to have a better retirement.

  2. This is amazing, one year away from officially retiring it came to mind a couple of months ago that I could rent my house out foe a year and become a gypsy, family and friends think this is wonderful, now it would be even more fun with a companion. Reading this article has confirmed that I’m on the right path, thank you so much for the article
