  1. The newest and worlds fastest growing tax haven is now England. I do not think they will use military force and attach England. Really it is just about other countries being competitive from a business point of view. No one likes it when a small country like Panama starts to do very well because of business friendly laws including a semi-logical tax system. Panama is by no means a low tax country. Tax heaven is more a word to be used against any country that is getting to competitive overall. Panama has a very good locations, very good logistics and has been building a first rate country for the last 10 years, that scares other countries with archaic legal and tax systems. Instead of doing like England and updating their laws and tax systems to be competitive they just attach the more modern and functional countries from a business point like Panama. The idea to bring other down to your level instead of rising up to a competitive level.
