Tender: Roadworks for $37 million

More road improvements in Panama is always good news, a little painful but worth it in the end.

The Ministry of Public Works in Panama is inviting bids for the renovation of 61 kilometers of roads in the province of Cocle.

“Project aims:

-Renovate, repair and improve the road network in the region, to provide greater security and accessibility for the population, in this way contributing to the integration of the region with the rest of the country.

-Repairs and improvements to stormwater systems in the region, including riverbeds and streams, storm boxes, closed rainwater systems, drains, among other things, in order to renovate these systems and adapt them to the modern situation in the region.

Improve the conditions of road easements and access routes in order to facilitate access to basic services for the entire population and promote balanced social development such as ramps for the disabled on sidewalks to ensure pedestrian safety in the region.”
