Tender of Port Terminal for $53 million

The Panama Maritime Authority has announced a new tender for the concession of the design, construction and operation of a multipurpose terminal in the port of Aguadulce.

A year after the first attempt, the Maritime Port Authority has once again called on companies interested in the concession to design, build and operate a multipurpose terminal in Aguadulce, Cocle province.

The publication on the Panamanian State purchasing portal does not include the requests for offers document, but in the publication of the first call in 2015, it was indicated that   “…The concession would be for 20 years in BOT mode, and that the multipurpose terminal would include areas for cargo containers, fuel storage and silos for grain and other goods. “

The date of the approval meeting is July 31, 2016.
The deadline for receipt of bids is: 12 October 2016.
