  1. Hello Tom,
Haven’t met you on my visits to Boquette, but my son faithfully forwards your Panama Perspective
For my enjoyment, you do a fine job of bringing information to all your followers. I just waited
To see an article, complaint, or attention to the mail situation that Panama definitely needs to change
And drastically improve. The Feb. 7 article on “Spilling the Beans.Coffee” immediately made me
Wonder how can such a new enterprise that is going to Have to rely on the Postal System in Panama
To mail the orders they have received, possibly succeed when there are not even postage stamps
Available to even mail a letter, much less a box? It takes weeks to send or receive Anything through the mail. If you send it to Europe, it can take months! I have talked to many residents when I visit and they
All vollenteer that this is the #1 problem that just drives them Crazy. If I want to mail even a letter
when I am visiting, I go to the post office and they just shrug their shoulders and say “no stamps”
And one time I was told they have not had ANY stamps for months. You, with your fine newsletter,
could surely bring this problem “out of the closet” and write a commentary on this subject.
Panama is Never going to bring growth to the rural areas untill they address this Huge Problem.
Hopefully will see if you can bring this to the attention of Someone! Thanks for all the work you do
To keep your newsletter going…I do not think I will be physically able to make the trip to Boquette again,
So I am depending on you to keep the home fires burning!Again, thanks for at least thinking about this
    Problem. Penelope Pigott
