Panama: $84 million for Road Projects

A tender will be launched once again for the design, construction and maintenance of works for the renovation of the Transístmica road on the stretch Plaza Agora – San Isidro Station.

Panama Government Purchase 2016-0-09-0-08-LV-004 817:

“The project has an approximate length of 10 kilometers, whose studies and designs start at the intersection with Ave. De La Paz and end at the entrance to Villa Zaita, while the works to be performed include the section that starts at Plaza Agora and ends at the San Isidro Metro Station.

However, the procuring entity may determine whilst executing the work in the field or as a result of the studies, that there are tasks required, which have not been defined in the terms of reference and plans, in order to ensure connectivity, integrity and the smooth functioning of road networks and / or accessibility to basic services such as health centers, schools, roads, production, etc., as long as these are to do so along continuous  (or) neighboring pathways (or) those that intersect at any point on the Transístmica road, which will be formalized through legal instruments defined in the Request for Proposals.”
