Mici, Ampyme, ATP and Mastercard come together to bring more SMEs to the digital economy

With a view to generating a public-private partnership to empower entrepreneurs and micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) of Panama, the Ministry of Commerce and Industries (Mici), the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Authority (Ampyme) and the Tourism Authority of Panama (ATP), joined their respective commitments to further accelerate the development and economic recovery of the sector.

Under the terms Training, ii. Digitization, formalization and banking of entrepreneurs, and iii. Promotion of the Panama Tourism Master Plan.

This agreement was signed on behalf of the Panamanian Government by the Minister of Commerce and Industries (Mici), Federico Alfaro Boyd; the director of the Authority for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Ampyme), Óscar Ramos; and the general administrator of the Panama Tourism Authority (ATP), Iván Eskildsen. On behalf of Mastercard, the agreement was signed by Germán Rosón, country manager of Mastercard Panama.
