  1. I flew COPA to Colombia in August and September, New York in April-May, and also to Costa Rica in May. Covid protocols had people boarding by rows in small groups starting in the rear, like rows 30-33, then 27-29, etc. Please keep this procedure. It is more efficient, there is less pushing, and it works very well.

    When landing however, you do not enforce the theoretical protocol of having people stay seated and boarding from the front. Staff make no effort, not even announcements, to ask people to stay seated until it’s their turn to get up.
    The worst was the return from Bogota to Panama in early September, when the flight staff actually told people they could stand up as soon as the fasten seat belt light went off. This was in marked contrast to Avianca, whose flight attendants went into the rows behind those leaving to ensure people stay seated. COPA you still have a lot to learn
