I just saw this video clip and could only stop laughing long enough to cry over the reality of the situation.
During a House Armed Services Committee hearing on April 1, 2010, on the advisability of the U.S. building up its naval base on the Pacific island of Guam, a U.S. territory, Congressman Hank Johnson (D-Georgia) opened his mouth and removed all doubt that his IQ is the same as his shoe size.
Concerned that adding 8,000 U.S. Marines and their families to Guam’s 175,000 population would lead to over-population, Johnson said he feared the island would tip over and capsize like a boat!
Well, you’d be thrilled to know that not only did Hank Johnson win reelection in Georgia’s 4th Congressional district in 2008 with 99.9% of the vote, despite his demonstration of stupidity he was again reelected in 2010!

This video is amazing. I’ve seen it many times and how the Admiral kept a straight face astounds me. I would have been so shocked I wouldn’t have been able to keep it to myself. Having said this, though, this is what you get from largely black districts. They’re simply going to elect their own a la Maxine Waters in LA. There’s another one in Houston as well, but here name escapes me. The thing that is common with all of them, however, is that they come across just like this guy. Any wonder so many of us try to escape and move off shore?
Adding to my previous comment, it wasn’t intended to be racist but I’m also not a fan of political correctness. It is what it is. And it clearly reflects on the state of the US. We have them throughout government. Too many to name but Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Barney Frank come immediately to mind. And el presidente.
