Panama’s flag carrier Copa Airlines announced Wednesday the creation of the Dreams Executive and Economy Extra classes, which “raise the level of comfort and convenience” for passengers traveling from Panama to four destinations in South America and the United States.

Copa Airlines passengers traveling between Panama and Montevideo (Uruguay), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Sao Paulo (Brazil), and Los Angeles (U.S.) have the option, as of last Monday, to choose Dreams Business Class and Economy Extra on all flights, which offer more seat space and technological amenities.

Flights depart from Tocumen International Airport in Panama City, considered the “Hub of the Americas” for being an important connection center with the entire continent.

The Dreams Business Class has 16 lie-flat seats, “large 16-inch touch screens with remote control and an extensive entertainment program, power connectors,” and “storage space for personal items”.

Economy Extra offers 24 seats with more space, individual 10-inch touchscreens with USB input and power connectors,” Copa added in a public statement.

The objective of this offer is “to meet the needs of its passengers on these important long-haul routes, which merit a more comfortable experience,” the airline added.

It stated that as the airline “receives new aircraft, it will expand this offering to more destinations in the Americas, to continue offering its travelers the world-class service for which it is renowned.”

Copa Airlines, a subsidiary of Copa Holdings, has one of the industry’s newest and most modern fleets of Boeing 737-800 NGs and Boeing 737 MAX9s, serving countries in North, Central, and South America and the Caribbean, with on-time performance exceeding 90 percent.

Panama’s flag carrier Copa Airlines stands out as the best in Latin America in the last decade, thanks to its Hub of America’s strategy to connect the region with the rest of the world.
