British Trade Mission Comes to Central America

The Brits continue to take interest in Central America where they are already big players.

Entrepreneurs from the energy, infrastructure, mining and telecommunications sectors will first visit Guatemala and then Panama and Nicaragua.  Under the framework of British Week in Guatemala, organized by the Embassy of the United Kingdom, a mission of businessmen interested in trade and investment will be received in the country from 22 February to 2 March 2013, focusing on sectors such as energy, infrastructure, mining and telecommunications.

This mission will be in Guatemala City on 25 and 26 February before visiting Panama and Nicaragua.

The event is being organized with the support of the Central American Business Council and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Great Britain, and one of the leading investors in the region, Cable and Wireless Communications.

The event will offer a special program of business meetings organized to meet the needs and interests of every company in Guatemala.
