From December 2, the airline Avianca will operate two daily flights on the new direct route between Panama City (Tocumen International Airport) and Medellín (José María Córdova International Airport), added to an increase in frequencies to San Salvador.
With these two new flights, the airline has a total of 14 weekly frequencies and more than 5,000 seats available each week, and this also represents the company’s fourth direct connection to the country’s capital.
The airline will also increase its frequencies on the Panama City-San Salvador route, operating two daily flights from December, as part of the airline’s growing demand and commitment to strengthen its presence in the region.
The itineraries for the new Panama City-Medellín route are designed to offer flexibility to passengers. Those interested can purchase their tickets through the website avianca.com, the mobile application or through travel agencies.
Additionally, Avianca will begin operations on October 27 on the Panama City-San José route, which will increase the direct routes from Panama to four. This growth not only improves regional connectivity but also promotes tourism and cultural exchange between countries.
