910 arrested in five days of Operation Panama 3.0

President José Raúl Mulino announced in his morning conference on October 17 the preliminary results of Operation Panama 3.0, after five days of implementation.

According to the president, so far 275 raids have been carried out and 910 people have been apprehended, with an average of 182 detainees per day.

A total of 416 packages of drugs and 29 firearms have also been seized.

In addition, nine subjects were arrested in Chiriquí for stealing vehicles.

Likewise, the Capibara and Obra Gris operations have been carried out to stop extortion practices in the educational and construction sectors.

“We are putting things in order with the intention of recovering the neighborhoods, and I have given instructions to all the security forces to continue incessantly,” Mulino said.
