The low-cost airline VECA Airlines has started operations with flights linking San Salvador, Panama City and San Jose.
The airline of Salvadoran origin, VECA Airlines, started operations today, announcing their prices for flights between the capital cities of Costa Rica, El Salvador and Panama.
Tourism Minister Jose Napoleon Duarte, told Estrategiaynegocios.net that “… ‘The entry of more airlines into the Salvadoran market certainly strengthens the market and has a positive impact on tourism. We hope that the flow of tourists to the country from Central America will positively increase starting from 2015 with the start of VECA’s operations.'”
“… They will begin operations with two Airbus 319 aircraft with capacity for 144 passengers each and plan to have a third aircraft in 2015.”
