This is an incredibly moving and brutal 12-minute video. I watched this over Thanksgiving. It helps put things in perspective, and it made me reconsider my “stresses” as almost entirely absurd. A mother navigates the everyday after her son is gravely injured. Stephanie Peirolo is a consultant and author of the novel Radio Silence. Stephanie now serves as Chair of the board of directors of the Health Care Rights Initiative, a nonprofit that helps patients and caregivers navigate the health care system.
