The words came crashing into my ears! Here I was sitting in a restaurant in Panama City with my friend Kent Davis from Panama Equity who I have collaborated on several real estate deals. I was telling him about the 40 minute ride to the restaurant from the US Embassy that would normally take 15 if it was not for a huge traffic snarl. That’s when he said “Welcome to my world!”
Panama is a beautiful city. Hanami Sohn captures it in these stunning pictures
Panama is also a City full of contrasts. Where the poor neighborhoods sit on some of the most expensive real estate right up to the tall office and condo towers.
So Kent and I compared notes and stories and had a nice time chatting. His new office is in the Sortis Office and Hotel complex in the heart of Obarrio which is in the center of the City. It was evident that Kent loves the City life and his youth and energy proves to be his greatest asset, besides having an intimate knowledge of the residential market here.
After lunch, I was back at the airport waiting for my jet ride back to David and then a short drive home. What a feeling when I got home. There was a light rain, the birds were singing to the sunset and I had to crank up the fire and have a glass of Cab. Welcome to my world!
This morning I woke up to a great cup of Boquete Coffee and a view up into the mountain tops.
So Kent, welcome to my world buddy, I will not trade it for anything!!
