Universidad de Panamá Master’s Programs Recognized in Global Rankings
On September 19, 2025, the Universidad de Panamá announced that four of its master’s programs have been included in the esteemed QS Global MBA Rankings and QS Business Master’s Rankings 2026. This recognition positions the university among the top institutions globally in the fields of business and accounting.
The master’s programs that earned this distinction are:
- Master’s in Business Administration
- Master’s in Financial Management
- Master’s in Marketing and International Trade
- Master’s in Operations and Business Logistics Management
These programs are offered by the Faculty of Business and Accounting (FAECO), which has been instrumental in elevating the university’s academic standards.
Franklin Castillo, Dean of FAECO, emphasized the significance of this achievement, stating that the inclusion of these programs in the QS rankings represents an unprecedented milestone for Panamanian higher education. He attributed this success to the collective efforts of faculty members, researchers, students, and administrative staff who have consistently worked towards enhancing the institution’s academic quality.
The QS rankings are based on various criteria, including employer and academic surveys, employability metrics, leadership, return on investment, diversity, and curriculum quality. This recognition underscores the university’s commitment to academic excellence and its role as a leading institution in business and management education in Latin America.
