It’s already shaping up to be a busy year for travel. So many are looking for new travel experiences, not just a typical visit to an all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean.
Although there are still traditionalists, who will visit the same spot every year, this year’s travellers want to experience something different and awe-inspiring.
For those who are looking for some great idea that will make your friends and family jealous, keep reading as the following are the newest must-see destinations of 2015.
Panama
The wonderful country of Panama is making waves in the travel market as the new must-see destination of Central America. With a new airport close to Playa Blanca and an exciting mixture of malls, resorts and interesting excursions (such as Monkey Island and the Gamboa Rainforest Tour), expect a dramatic increase in tourism to the area.
Belize
A fantastic destination that saw a spike in travellers last year was the beautiful country of Belize. With English as Belize’s official language and breathtaking landscapes, it’s no wonder travellers feel comfortable and at home. Belize also offers a variety of attractions – San Pedro for the travelling shopper, Caracol for the historian and the Great Blue Hole for the adventure-seeker, there’s so much to see and so much to do in Belize.
Poland
Tired of pictures standing next to the Leaning Tower of Pisa? Have one too many photos of the Eiffel Tower? It’s never too late to visit another European gem. Named as one of Europe’s most dynamic countries, Poland not only boasts marvellous architecture, but also makes the most of a vibrant culture. Whether you dance along to some polka folk music in Krakow or take a private cooking lesson in Warsaw, the opportunities are endless and every city is truly unique.
Bonus: Havana
Cuba never ceases to surprise me, when you think it’s down and out, it makes a stronger come back than ever before. I would strongly suggest taking a trip to Havana in 2015. Varadero, Holguin and Cayo Santa Maria can wait until next year, or can serve as your resort while you take a day trip to Havana. However, if you are able to make a trip over to Cuba this year, I would definitely prescribe Havana. It’s old-time charm and old-world beauty is evident in all of its architecture and automobiles and the people are just amazing.
So this year, say goodbye to your typical seven-night resort stay and say hello to adventure!
