Experts and leaders of the tourism industry will meet at the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) from January 24 to 28, 2024, in the new edition of FITURTECHY, which will be the epicenter of the latest trends and avant-garde solutions for tourism.
This edition of FITURTECHY, which is the section of FITUR dedicated to innovation, the future, sustainability and technology in the tourism and hotel sector, and which this year will have Ecuador as a Partner country of this edition, will immerse attendees in a transformative experience that challenges the existing paradigms and redefines the very essence of tourism.
The event that will be held in Pavilion 10 of IFEMA (Instituto Ferial de Madrid), will consist of four forums in which avant-garde conferences will be held such as: TechYnegocio that is focused on the challenges faced by companies in the face of technological transformation to recover the human essence with a focus on people.
Another forum will be TechYfuturo where it will be exposed how innovation and creativity are impacting the development of this industry through robotization and artificial intelligence and how the humanization of technology can accelerate tourism and thus achieve a positive impact on society.
In the third TechYsustainability forum, the application of the right technology and innovation becomes important in this forum since it can create a great differentiation in the service provided to the customer and, in addition, it can help the tourism sector a better management of resources in the care of the environment and society that has an impact on the preservation of the future of our planet and, therefore, a greater alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals.
The fourth TechYdestino forum will present the new challenges and trends that arise when traveling and the keys to an innovative and integral management of destinations. In a sector that does not stop evolving, it is essential to be at the forefront of technologies related to tourism management and promotion, without forgetting that human factor so important and characteristic of tourism.
Similarly, the fair event that this year’s motto is “Total Challenge”, is a call for the transformation of current standards and to find a balance between technological efficiency, artificial intelligence, sustainability in all its areas and human touch.
On the other hand, the humanization of the guest experience is one of the most relevant challenges today since, although technology can provide efficiency and personalization, it cannot replace warmth and human attention, therefore, the search is important to restore the harmony between comfort, technological efficiency and human touch, where each interaction is meaningful and personalized.
