Three Bids in $144 million Treatment Plant Tender

Between $91 million and $138 million is the range of proposals presented in the tender to build and operate a wastewater treatment plant in Arraiján Este, a trunk system and its interconnections.

The tender consists of designing, constructing, operating and maintaining a wastewater treatment plant in Arraiján Este, a trunk system and its interconnections, and the operation and maintenance of sewage networks in Burunga and Arraiján cabecera.

Consorcio Aba Arraiján, led by Acciona Agua, presented an offer of $138,962,452, the second offering was from the consortium Degremont Suez Burunga, whose proposal amounted to $135,257,510. The third proposal was from Consorcio Ptar Arraiján 2016, led by FCC Aqualia, for $91,874,839.

Project Details
– The Plant must be designed to treat at least one contaminant load of 11,352 kg / BOD5 / D and 2,270 kg of NH3-N / D. The effluent quality must meet the technical regulations DGNTI-COPANIT 35-2000.  

– The Plant must be built to treat at least one pollutant load of 6.991 KG / BOD5 / D and  1.398 kg of NH3-N / d. The effluent quality must meet the technical regulations DGNTI-COPANIT 35-2000.
