The Mayor’s Office and Universal Pictures join forces to label the Recycling Stations in Panama City

In the first phase of a plan to improve the presentation of the 29 recycling stations located throughout the Capital District, the Mayor’s Office of Panama has achieved an Alliance with Universal Pictures and the company Punto Creativo, which have completed the signage of the first 8 stations. It is a plan that redoes these municipal facilities, in order to motivate the population to join the recycling tasks, and process their waste properly.

“This is an alliance that shows how when we unite authorities and private companies we can make Panama shine,” said Facundo Clúa, deputy director of Welfare and Environmental Education, the Environmental Management instance in charge of the recycling program. Emmy Young of Universal Pictures, agreed with the official and explained that the company joins this alliance, in promoting an environmental preservation behavior in the population “We want more recycling and more cinema,” she said.
