On October 19, the seminar “All about Medicinal Cannabis” will be held in Panama, organized by the company PRLM Educational of Puerto Rico, an event that marks a milestone in the emerging medical cannabis industry in the country.
The event will be led by Goodwin Aldarondo, CEO of PRLM Educational and expert in medicinal cannabis with more than 8 years of experience in the industry.
The seminar will offer attendees a valuable opportunity to learn about the economic and therapeutic benefits of medicinal cannabis, especially after the legalization of its use in Panama in 2021.
The seminar will also address issues such as the legal, scientific and medical aspects of the plant, as well as the challenges associated with its regulation.
Aldarondo, the only “Cannabis Sommelier” certified in Colorado and Canada, highlighted the importance of Panamanians understanding how this industry has evolved in other countries, highlighting the case of Puerto Rico, where medical cannabis has generated thousands of jobs and business opportunities, in addition to benefiting thousands of patients.
“Medical cannabis not only offers relief to chronic diseases, but also has a significant economic impact, by creating an industry that can generate jobs and growth in Panama,” Aldarondo said.
With the recent regulation of cannabis in Panama, this event is crucial for doctors, patients and future actors in the sector to prepare to take advantage of the opportunities that this industry will bring, both in the field of health and in economic development.
