Tender: Road Works in Panama

This is another area of Panama that will benefit from a better roadway network.

Tender for the design of the renovation of the Atalaya-Mariato-Quebro-Las Flores Highway, and the design and construction of the Quebro-Varadero Arena Branch, in the province of Veraguas.

Government of Panama Purchase 2018-0-09-0-09-LP-005537:

“The preliminary meeting for this project is initially scheduled for August 14, while the bidding is scheduled for September 26 of the current year. The Carretera Atalaya – Mariato – Quebró – Las Flores section totals 102,120 kilometers in length and the Camino Arena de Quebro – Varadero 11,060 kilometers. 

The works consist of the design of the renovation and / or reconstruction of the road surface for shoulder adaptation and improvements of connecting (radial) roads; diagnosis, hydraulic revision and bridge design, rainwater gullies, transversal and longitudinal drainage; besides the elaboration of integral solution to flood zones; as well as adjustment the geometric design of the road with shoulders.

In addition, several critical points and flood-prone sites must be attended to, which are located at the start of the Atalaya-Mariato-Quebró-Las Flores road, specifically in the town of Atalaya on the side of the Mini Super Clarisa and ending 100m after the intersection with the street towards the Cerro Olla National Park in the community of Las Flores.”

The deadline for receipt of bids is September 16, 2018.
