Tender For $33 Million in Road Works

News from Panama / Monday, October 7th, 2019

The Ministry of Public Works of Panama tenders the design and construction to rehabilitate the Gatun – Miguel de La Borda Highway, in the province of Colon.

Panama Government Purchase 2019-0-09-0-03-LV-006058:

“The project consists of a 67.7 kilometer length approximately, which begins in Gatun at one side of the locks and ends in the town of Miguel de la Borda; however, the Bidder Entity may determine works that within the execution of the work in the field are detected as required, that have not been defined in the terms of reference and plans, to ensure connectivity and integrity of road networks and / or for accessibility to basic services.

The on-site visit is optional, at the proponent’s expense; the MOP will not make a scheduled site visit. For the MOP it is important that the proposer knows the site of the work. No excuses will be accepted about the omission of the project’s own works, arguing not to know the site of the work.”

Reference value: $ 33,441,976.

Deadline for receipt of bids: November 13, 2019.
