Great news for one of my favorite places to visit.  The road from Pedasi to  Canas is one of the most scenic roadways in Panama and the beaches there are very special.

The Ministry of Public Works of Panama tenders the design and construction works for the restoration of the Pedasí-Los Asientos-Cañas Highway, in the province of Los Santos.

Panama Government Purchase 2018-0-09-0-07-LV-005800:

“The project consists of a 40.35 km length, however, the Tendering Entity may determine works within the execution of the work being detected in the field as required, which have not been defined in the terms of reference and plans, to ensure connectivity and integrity of road networks and / or accessibility to basic services.

The tenderer shall include in its Proposal, the work maintenance, for a 36 calendar months duration, according to what is established in the tender document and the execution norms regulating routine and periodic maintenance by standard.”
