Panama’s economy grew 5.9 pct in the first quarter

While we are not growing at the blistering pace we have seen over the last 7 years, the predicted rate for this year will be between 6 and 7 percent according to this Reuters article.

Panama’s economy grew 5.9 percent in the first quarter compared with the same period in 2014, driven by construction activity and the service sector, the economy ministry said on Monday.
