The shipping company ONE-PANAMA (Ocean Network Express) made history by receiving the Fair Logistics Certification from the World Organization of Cities and Logistics Platforms, thus becoming the first international and Panamanian shipping company to obtain this recognition.

The delivery of the scrolls was made by the president of the World Organization, Ricardo Partal Silva, who expressed his honor by having one of the most prominent shipping companies in the world in his organization. He highlighted the social and environmental contribution of ONE-PANAMA, emphasizing its commitment to these important actions.

This achievement places ONE-Panama in the global network of certificates in Fair Logistics, benefiting cargo donors and regional productions through maritime routes with superior logistical performance. Partal Silva recalled the importance of logistics for commerce, emphasizing that “without logistics there is no commerce.”

In addition, the CEO of ONE in Panama, Julio De La Lastra, expressed his pride in leading as the first international shipping company to obtain the Fair Logistics Certification. This certification not only raises the quality status of the shipping company’s services, but also completes a circuit of international certifications, including the renewal of Quality Management with ISO Standards, the Great Place to Work award and certifications with Basf regulations.

De La Lastra pointed out that this step reinforces ONE’s commitment to high standards and values, stating that they are on the right track. In a gesture of leadership, he invited other shipping companies, especially those operating through Panama, to follow his example and be certified. This, according to him, will make it possible to offer homogeneous services in quality, environmental sustainability and safety, in line with global demands.
