What is the Panamanian Consumer Interested in?

News from Panama / Tuesday, June 30th, 2020

In Panama, during March, April, May and the first week of June, there is an upturn in interest in documentary films, home financing and cargo trucks.

Through a system that monitors in real time changes in consumer interests and preferences in Central American countries, developed by CentralAmericaData, it is possible to project short- and long-term demand trends for the different products, sectors and markets that operate in the region.

Analyzing the options that consumers prefer to be entertained, the interactive report states that since March 22, interactions associated with documentary films are on the rise in the Panamanian market, but as of May 24 the trend shows a considerable upturn that continued until early June.

The interest in housing financing is another issue that has gained ground among Panamanian consumers, since April 12 has increased interactions on the Internet associated with the item.

Cargo trucks are other goods that people are interested in. The rise in the trend began to be evident in mid-March and at the beginning of June the positive variations were still maintained.
