A tender has been launched to design and build works that include the extension of Metro Line 1 to Villa Zaita.

Panama Government Purchase 2018-2-80-0-08-LS-001760:

“Requirements are for design engineering services, construction of civil works, auxiliary line installations and stations, and interfaces with integral rail system for the extension of Line 1 of the Panama Metro to Villa Zaita.

A tour to the site of the Extension Project of Line 1 to Villa Zaita will take place on August 14, 2018, starting at 10 am. Proponents interested in attending this visit must reserve their place two days in advance. 

Due to the complexity of the Public Act, the preliminary meeting will be held from August 16, 2018, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, so that interested parties can pose questions and provide comments on points that they feel may affect their participation under equal conditions.

The winning bidder must coordinate with the dependencies and the execution of the corresponding works for the projects of relocation, removal, cancellation, demolition or protection of service lines, pedestrian bridges, buildings, fences, publicity structures, and in general the visible and hidden installations that are required to execute the specified works, the supply of equipment, materials, labor and technical supervision to execute the works detailed in the specifications.”

The deadline for receipt of bids is October 26 2018.
