Panama: Residential Complex for $137 million

An environmental impact study has been presented for the “City of Hope Arraiján” project, which will consist of 2,250 homes in an area of ??36 hectares in western Panama.

The company CCA.MCM Consortium was the winner of the tender convened by the Ministry of Housing and Land Management. In the Environmental Impact Assessment study (EIA) submitted to the Ministry of Environment, it states that the development will be named “Ciudad Esperanza Arraiján” (City of Hope Arraiján) and will be located in the district of Vista Alegre, Arraiján district.

The project consists of building a housing complex that will consist of 2,250 affordable homes, including buildings with five (5) stories (ground floor plus four more floors).

Two types of apartments will be developed, one with two bedrooms, with an enclosed area of not less than forty-eight square meters (48 M2) and the other type will be three bedroom, with an enclosed area not less than fifty-seven square meters (57 M2). The buildings will have all utilities (water, electricity, cable, sewers and others).

Regarding the distribution of the project areas, 60% will be three-bedroom apartments and 40% 2-room apartments.

In order to carry out the project the budgeted investment amount is approximately $137,000,000.
