The Organization of Ibero-American States (OEI), the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF) and the ambassador of Panama to Argentina, Juan Luis Correa promoted a business meeting as part of the preparation for the International Economic Forum 2026.
The meeting took place this Thursday, within the framework of the Ibero-American Institute for Education and Productivity, with the aim of strengthening cooperation and articulation between governments, the private sector and civil society in view of the second edition of the Forum, which will be held in Panama in January next year.
This business meeting is an initiative aimed at promoting economic integration and bilateral relations, especially between Panama and countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, with a focus on sustainable productive transformation and regional development opportunities.
The International Economic Forum 2026 will be a key space for dialogue on regional integration, energy transition, digitization and competitiveness, with the participation of important economic and social actors in the region. The cooperation between CAF, OEI and the Embassy of Panama in Argentina reflects the desire to strengthen these issues in the regional framework.
