Panama: Plots for Higher Institute of Agriculture

Plots and other relevant information needed to advance in the building of the Higher Institute of Agriculture are now ready, with a required investment of $60 million.

The construction of the Higher Institute of Agriculture could start in the middle of this year, according to information given to Telemetro by the Agricultural Development Minister, Jorge Arango, after receiving a proposal with the parameters, processes and plans for the design and construction of the work.

Telemetro.com reported that “… instalations with parking facilities, a swimming pool and residences are where there will be a convergence of the educational, productive and agricultural research sectors, forming part of the proposal submitted by the French Society for the Export of Educational Resources (SFERE)”.

“… Investment in the project is over $60 million, it will be developed in an area of 800 hectares in Divisa, and is expected to expand the range of ISE training to approximately one thousand students.”
