The Panamanian government announced that it will open an agribusiness office in the city of Shanghai, which will seek to increase exports to the Asian continent.
An announcement will be made of the new office opening (which would be planned for the first months of 2019) during the China International Import Expo (Ciie), one of the most important in Asia that takes place from November 5th to 10th.
Compared to other commercial offices that already operate, Elcapitalfinanciero explains that “… The first office was opened in August this year at the Port of Rotterdam in the Netherlands as part of its strategy to boost Panamanian exports to the European market.”
The article adds that “… The announcement of the opening (of the agribusiness office in Shanghai) will be made as part of the official visit to China by the Panamanian delegation headed by the President of the Republic, Juan Carlos Varela.“
