Panama and Mexico Bands in Cuban Rock Festival Patria Grande

The Panamanian band Los Rabanes and the Mexican Tijuana No are at the top of the official poster of the sixth edition of the Patria Grande Festival, to be held from November 6 to 16 in this capital city.

 

With almost 30 years of experience, the representation of Panama will arrive at the Caribbean island after a meritorious international tour that earned it the Latin Grammy Award for Best Vocal Rock Album in 2007 for his album Kamikaze.

Meanwhile, the whole of the Aztec country that fuses rock, punk, reggae and ska, is endorsed by its critical letters on social issues such as immigration and poverty.

According to several media reports, the flagship event of international rock in Cuba will also bring together other exponents of the genre such as the Arcadia Libre group, also from Mexico, and the Costa Rican Sonámbulo Psicotropical.

On the Cuban side, the list of historical guests who defend rock and roll and metal, among them Zeus, Trend, Tracks, Collector, Switch, Nemesis, Blank Flag, Toques del Río and vocalist Kamankola.

The event, which will also cover the provinces of Villa Clara, Sancti Spíritus and Pinar del Río, is organized by the Hermanos Saíz Association, the Cuban Institute of Music and the Ministry of Culture of Cuba.
