Through an agreement valued at $4 million, the German airline will promote Panama for three years as a destination for European tourists.

Berlin Germany. October 18, 2016. The Government of the Republic of Panama, through the Tourism Authority of Panama (ATP) and the German airline Lufthansa today finalized an agreement to promote tourism in the amount of B / .4 million, for a period of three years, it will seek to increase the volume of air traffic between Europe and Panama, encouraging travelers to take Lufthansa flights and discover Panama’s tourist destinations.
The agreement was ratified today at a meeting led by President of the Republic, Juan Carlos Varela Rodriguez, with the head of commerce at Lufthansa, Jens Bischof, alongside the Vice President and Chancellor, Isabel de Saint Malo de Alvarado; Tourism Minister, Gustavo Him; Minister of Trade and Industry, Augusto Arosemena; and the Minister of Government, Milton Henriquez.
