With the intention of strengthening its network in Latin America, the company DP World, one of the world chains in logistics and supply chain, announced that it has opened an Integrated Logistics Services office in Panama City.
According to the company, this expansion seeks to transform the local logistics sector through advanced infrastructure and innovative technology, improving efficiency and reducing costs for companies in multiple sectors.
With a focus on sustainability, DP World points out that it will contribute to Panama’s competitiveness in global trade by implementing initiatives to reduce carbon emissions and optimize resources.
The country’s strategic location, with direct connections to the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, positions the new office as a key pillar to facilitate trade in the Americas.
The CEO of DP World in the Dominican Republic, Manuel MartÃnez, said that this expansion will allow the company to offer more complete solutions to face the challenges of modern supply chains in sectors such as retail, manufacturing, automotive, and health. The office will offer comprehensive logistics services, from maritime and air transport to storage and customs clearance.
This initiative reinforces DP World’s commitment to regional economic growth and consolidates Panama as a strategic logistics center in international trade.
