Panama boat show announces features

Show Management, the world’s leading boat show company, today announced the addition of several signature attractions for the inaugural Panama International Boat Show, which will take place June 20-22 at Flamenco Marina on Flamenco Island in Panama.

• In addition to the display of boats in the water and on land, marine accessories and services, attendees will enjoy an impressive car display with a large selection of the latest models from Mercedes-Benz, Dodge and Jeep.

• On June 21 and 22, at 4 p.m., Show Management and designer Marcel Kaminstein will present the IfULoveMe Fashion Show, featuring the latest yachting jewelry and swimwear fashion trends.

• Panama Fishing Magazine will host a virtual fishing tournament on all show days; show visitors will be able to virtually “fish” for a chance to win daily prizes. There also will be fishing seminars by the Navegante TV fishing team.

“We like to make each show we produce a place where everyone can have a great time and enjoy the boating lifestyle,” Show Management CEO Efrem “Skip” Zimbalist III said in a statement. “All these different attractions are designed to encourage participation in boating and fishing.”

Conveniently located near downtown Panama City, Flamenco Marina is a flourishing tourist attraction with a wide range of marina amenities, including nine onsite restaurants, 238 slips protected by two breakwaters, a dry-stack facility, 24-hour security, marine firefighters on site, a fuel dock with low sulfur diesel and non-ethanol gasoline, disposal of foreign garbage, Wi-Fi, transportation assistance, fishing and private trip charter services, bilingual staff, and onsite government offices. A new section of the marina has been earmarked for the boat show.
