Panama and Peru reactivate talks to strengthen trade relations

With a view to strengthening cooperation and promoting relations between Panama and Peru, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade, Francisco Mola met on Monday with the Ambassador of Peru, Mario López Chávarri and the Civil Attaché, José Mario D´Andrea.

“We agree to continue strengthening the rapprochement between the two countries, mainly in trade matters, so we present to you the various opportunities that our country offers, both in terms of investment and export,” said Deputy Minister Mola about the meeting.

Panama and Peru have maintained a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) in force since May 1, 2012.
