Panama: $31 million Industrial Park

An environmental impact study has been presented for the construction of an industrial park with 6 commercial premises and 82 warehouses in Tocumen, Panama province.  The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) submitted to the Ministry of Environment in March 2016 by INMUEBLES Y CONSTRUCCIONES DEL ISTMO, S.A. indicates that the development will be called “Parque Industrial Tocumen” located in the district and province of Panama, town of Tocumen.

The project involves the construction of an industrial park consisting of 6 commercial premises in front of the Domingo Diaz road and a total of 82 warehouses; as well as a parking building, with one ground floor and two higher floors; including all internal infrastructure with connections to potable water and sewers, roads and signaling systems, storm and electrical systems, among other things.

The construction area of ??the project is approximately 9 hectares + 3848 sqm. According to the EIA, the estimated budget for the project is $31,028,913.45.
