My friend Mark Heyer  captured the spirit of the people here in Boquete on the biggest of three Independence Days last November.

Once again, the November 28 parade was a unique and moving event. As the afternoon rain closed in, the crowd and the parade became one, like an intimate living room filled with Panamanians. The respect and admiration they show to one another is extraordinary. Please enjoy the pictures here.
