Trump Hotel Panama

News from Panama / Friday, October 12th, 2012

This week was a busy one with travel to Panama City.  I hopped on the 8 am Air Panama Fokker 100 Jet   that flies regularly between David and Panama.  By the time we reached cruising altitude, we started our  descent and were on the ground in 25 minutes.  A new age of travel from David and certainly a taste of what is to come – Direct flights from the US.

After spending the day touring commercial properties in Costa del Este, I headed to Trump.  A few weeks ago, my friends who are involved with the project suggested that I come be their guests.  No sooner had I accepted their gracious offer when Mark Stevenson the managing director sent me an email confirming my stay.  Wow talk about VIP service.

Situated on prime real estate in Punta Pacifica, the hotel is truly a wonder to behold.  Rising 70 stories and consisting of almost 3,000,000 square feet of space, it is the largest building in Latin America and rivals some of the towers in New York.  This luxury hotel  unites exclusive amenities, innovative accommodations and the signature services of Trump Attaché™. Destined to become Central America’s next architectural icon, Trump’s sleek design evokes a majestic sail fully deployed in the wind.   This is  a landmark address that’s redefining luxury in Panama. Steps from Punta Pacifica’s sophisticated shops and nightlife, five minutes from the financial district and minutes from Panama City, this top hotel in Panama gives you the perfect setting to unite business with pleasure.

Unique among the world’s finest hotels and resorts, Trump Panama delivers a superior level of modern convenience including meeting facilities outfitted with sophisticated technology. The 13th-floor deck features five radiant pools with waterfront dining. The fully equipped spa and health club, open 24 hours a day, offers a respite from the every day.

Staying true to Trump’s unmatched reputation for excellence, every aspect of the tower has been designed to showcase direct ocean views, and each of the 369 hotel rooms and suites is exquisitely furnished in an elegant, cosmopolitan style. From the soon to open international casino to gourmet dining, this is opulence at its absolute finest.

My room was a regular room that would rank as a president ail suite in other hotels..  I walked in and there was a soaking tub in the middle of the suite, how cool is that.   The coffee service was a high end espresso machine and the bar was not mini, it consisted of regular bottles of scotch, vodka etc.  I was on a tight schedule for the three days that I was there and there was little time for imbibing.  Well maybe a good bottle of wine with friends.

If you are planning a visit to Panama, you have got to consider staying here.  The rates are competitive and the service is superior.

I strongly recommend the Trump for raising the bar of service here in Panama.  For more information and a photo gallery click here
