Beaches are opening and weekends too!!  This is great news.

Events: Change in Movement Restrictions and Opening of Beaches and Rivers
Beginning Saturday, October 24, families will be allowed to gather in groups of seven or fewer at beaches and rivers. Activities at beaches and rivers will only be permitted from 6:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Masks must be worn at all times, except when within your family bubble or when entering the water. Drinking alcohol at beaches and rivers is prohibited except at restaurants nearby.
Beginning Sunday, October 25, all weekend quarantines are lifted, and curfew hours are standardized for the whole country, from 11:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m., Monday through Sunday.
The Minister of Health, Luis Francisco, the National Government’s decision conference, starting this Saturday, October 24, authorizes the reactivation, operation and mobilization of family activities on beaches and rivers.
At the same time, he informed that as of this Sunday the total quarantine is lifted on Sundays, but the curfew will be maintained from Monday to Sunday from 11:00 p.m. at 5:00 a.m. In his statement, the Minister of Health, thanked the attitude of all those citizens who have made compliance with biosecurity measures and health protocols part of their daily lives.
Those who insist on holding parties, dances, “parking”, bullfights and festive activities are reminded that they are not allowed, for the good of each one and that of their families, they cannot continue in these practices.
MINSA, as the guarantor of the health of all citizens, will continue to monitor compliance with all the measures that have been promoted: mandatory use of masks when leaving home, frequent hand washing, use of alcohol and alcoholic gel, but above all. all the physical distancing.
On the other hand, we remind the public that people who arrive at the Tocumen International Airport and all ports of entry to the country, already air, must comply with the established protocols.
When you arrive in Tocumen, you must have the COVID test with a minimum of 48 hours or you are obliged to take the test and at your cost in the positions enabled for this purpose.
As for the curfew, a unified schedule of 11:00 p.m. – 5 a.m. is established throughout the national territory from Monday to Sunday, the total quarantine measure that was in force on weekends, especially on Sundays throughout the country, is lifted.
Recreational activities on the beaches and rivers will be subject to a 6:00 a.m. schedule. at 4:00 p.m., for this purpose, access within the family bubble will only be allowed in a maximum of seven people, rides on buses or other mass transport will not be allowed.
Access will not be allowed to people with symptoms suggestive of COVID-19, who are positive, have been swabbed, are awaiting a result or who are contact with positive cases.
The entry and consumption of alcoholic beverages and food to the beach and river areas will be prohibited, except for consumption in inns or restaurants that operate in the area.
The restaurants and inns, spas, tourist centers and beach communities in these areas must strictly comply with the biosecurity measures established by MINSA.
People will have to wear masks at the beaches and rivers, and to enter the water, except in the area where your family is set up away from others. Visitors must be obliged to comply with all MINSA measures. Dance activities, discos, private parties or shows will not be allowed.
The Ministry of Health, in coordination with the public security bodies and the Joint Task Force, may carry out tests at the entrances to beaches and rivers, in compliance with the established measures.
