The Netherlands reaffirmed its support for Panama before the European Union in the face of discriminatory lists and will cooperate with sustainable development and international justice, the Panamanian Foreign Ministry announced after the visit of Minister Javier Martínez Acha to that country.
The Foreign Minister of Panama met with his counterpart Caspar Veldkamp to strengthen cooperation in sustainable development, security and international justice. During the meeting, the Netherlands reaffirmed its support for Panama before the European Union in the face of discriminatory lists.
Martínez-Acha also visited the International Criminal Court (ICC), where he met with its president, Tomoko Akane, prosecutor Karim Khan and secretary Osvaldo Zavala. The CPI highlighted the importance of state support in the protection of human rights and global justice. Panama reaffirmed its commitment to these principles and legal cooperation.
The Panamanian delegation included the ambassador to the Netherlands, Sally Loo, and other Foreign Ministry officials. This visit reinforces diplomatic ties and mutual commitment to peace and international cooperation.
